Chapter 21

Chapter 21

Richie sat down on the couch thinking about everything that was happening. This was a whirlwind. He was supposed to be sweeping her off her feet, but it seemed she was sweeping him off his. How would he tell Ava he had fallen in love in such a short time?

He looked up and saw her walking back down the stairs. She had put on a very beautiful satin, yellow dress with spaghetti straps. Her hair had been put up, exposing all the sexy beauty in her neck and jaw line. Walking over to the stairs, he took her hand. Looking at her with complete wonderment. "I don't know if I can eat now! Your a complete knock out, baby!". Harley smiled softly, standing close enough to slow dance. Sliding her arms around his shoulders. His lips so close to hers, she could feel his hot breath on her lips. Tugging slightly on his head, just enough for his lips to melt into hers. She opened her mouth to take in his tongue. This kiss was different. It was deep, like the others but it was slower. His hands wrapped tightly around her waist, sliding to the small of her back, where he realized her dress was backless. Liking it so much, he let out a moan. The kiss ending just in time to catch some air. Harley brought her hand down to his face, caressing his cheek with her thumb. She was flushed in her cheeks. She didn't care if they ate or not. Her breathing wasn't stable and he knew it. She took his lips again. This time she slid her tongue in his mouth. Bending his knees slightly, to get a good grip on her, he lifted her off the floor, with full intentions of laying her on the sofa. But he stopped himself. Putting her down, "sorry, I got a little carried away, darlin'" he told her. "No baby, I think that was me who was being carried away. Don't ever be sorryf or that." His hand around her bare neck, running his thumb along her jaw line. "We need to eat NOW! Otherwise, we won't." He took her hand and guided her to the beautiful pool side table, lit with candles and a standing vase filled with beautiful red roses, which was next to her seat. What looked to be a bottle of champagne chilling on ice. She frowned slightly and turned to him, "Champagne?" she asked. "No sweetheart, sparkling cider." He pulled her chair out for her and she sat down. "This is all so beautiful, Richie." There were candles floating in the pool. "You really didn't need to go to all this trouble."
"It's no trouble. It's a beautiful evening, for a beautiful woman.". Harley felt the heat rise to her face and she looked down at the table. "I've never had sushi before and I'm trying to have an open mind about it. What do I do?" she asked, making him laugh. Richie showed her how to eat sushi. She actually liked it, although it wasn't something she would want everyday.

Her favorite part of the dinner was Richie sitting so close to her, so he could feed her sushi with chop sticks. Occasionally between bites they're lips would come together. Harley couldn't believe this was happening. This had to be the most romantic evening she'd ever experienced. Tim loved her deeply but he was a proud cowboy. A romantic evening for him was riding the horses together and sitting on the porch or watching Nascar together. Harley accepted it and loved Tim for the man he was. But Richie was hitting all the girlie spots inside her. Her wants and desires that she never really let herself pay too much attention to. Was it really possible to fall in love with a man so different from what she had loved before? He made her feel like a beautiful, sexy woman. Like she was the only woman in the world, that mattered.

  1. Every girl wants to be swept off their feet and romanced just like Richie is doing with Harley.
